This incredible and historic property had previously been operating as a Bed and Breakfast known locally as the Amber Rose Inn. In years past it was the General Store for the region. The Carriage House is even older and has a vivid history as well…it was almost lost to a fire some years back, yet thankfully stands to tell the tale. In looking to update the rooms and bring the Inn into this century, we waged a war! Our goal was to respect and restore the property’s history and incorporate a more modern and contemporary look.

Although they seem to lurk around every corner, we like to think that we are winning said war. If you happen to see one during your stay, do not be alarmed. Do not make eye contact with the doily. Back away slowly and alert us immediately. Doilies are not to be trusted.
