There are dogs on-site in the owner’s quarters at the Kitch’inn. We love woofers and are a dog friendly business. Out of consideration for guests and staff with allergies, we ONLY accept dogs on-site at the Kitch’inn and in our stand alone vacation properties. We are  happy to arrange dog walks and/or sitting for an extra fee. Note that the Mahone Bay B+B is NOT a pet / child friendly property. Both Betty’s and Eli +Trix patios are open to doggos and we encourage you to bring them along.

Smoking cigarettes or marijuana is prohibited inside ALL of the Kitch’inn Hospitality Group properties. Please enjoy outside in designated areas. Use provided receptacles.

Contactless self check-in is available any time after 4:00pm for all properties.

check out

Check out time is 10:30am daily for all properties.

dining + restaurants

the mahone bay b + b – Our complimentary breakfast (on-site in season with stay) is served daily in the dining room 8:30-9:30am. Start your day with fresh, from-scratch baked goods paired with in-season fruit… and of course coffee! Our morning brew is a locally roasted organic by Quest Coffee Company. Our sister restaurant Eli + Trix is just two doors down and offers more substantial breakfast fare from 8am daily. In our off season, breakfast is offered at Eli + Trix only and vouchers are provided at time of check-in.

the kitch’inn + betty’s – Breakfast is not included with stay. Our on-site sister restaurant, Betty’s at The Kitch, is a happening little spot and serves up a fantastic b’Lunch and dinner – and almost everything we do is created with local ingredients! We have local beer, wine, cider and spirts too, often have live music and the undisputed best patio in town. Meals can be delivered to the rooms on-site at the Kitch’inn for a small fee. Reservations are recommended for in-house seating. See our menu on-line and book your table!

cancellation policy

When you reserve a room or vacation rental, we agree to turn away all other requests for the room(s) you reserved, guaranteeing to hold them for the day(s) you requested. We want our policy to be fair for guests, yet prevent loss of income due to cancellations. We ARE NOT responsible for travel delays, health issues, inclement weather or early departures. Due to our limited number of rooms, cancellations affect us greatly, so when situations arise that necessitate a cancellation, we sympathize, however, we adhere to a strict cancellation policy:

• Cancel within 24 hours of booking or up to 14 days before check-in to receive a full refund.
• Cancel within 14 days of your trip and the reservation is non-refundable. However, the kitch’inn front desk minions will try to re-rent your room(s). If we can rent some or all of the room nights then you will be charged a $35 administration fee per room, along with any unsold room nights from the original reservation.
• Please note that if a cancellation is necessary due to a  Provincial or Federal Travel Advisory or Illness (ex. Covid-19) mandate, penalties will not apply.

allergies

Our on-site restaurant, Betty’s at The Kitch and our sister restaurant Eli + Trix can accommodate any and all food allergies. Seriously. Don’t be fretty, we’ve got this! We use biodegradable and naturally sourced cleaners and detergents at all locations.

parking

Free private parking available on-site at both The Kitch’inn and the Mahone Bay B+B as well as at our Vacation Properties for one guest vehicle. EV Charger is for use by guests of the Mahone Bay B+B only. Betty’s and Eli + Trix have limited on-site parking but street parking is always available close by.
